Meet the Owner
Alberto Valerio
Born in 1996, Alberto Valerio grew up during what many collectors consider the golden era of Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Some of his earliest memories involve trading cards with friends at school, opening packs whenever he had the opportunity, and waking up early on weekends to watch Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh before starting the day. Like many collectors, Alberto eventually stepped away from the hobby as school, work, and other responsibilities took priority. Despite the passage of time, the memories never faded. Years later, he returned to collecting with a mission to rebuild the collections he once dreamed of owning and to track down the cards that held special meaning throughout his childhood. What began as a personal collecting journey quickly became an opportunity to reconnect with a passionate community. Whether chasing favorite Pokémon cards, completing master sets, or gathering with friends for Yu-Gi-Oh duel nights, Alberto was reminded of what made the hobby so meaningful in the first place. Driven by a desire to create a better experience for fellow collectors, Alberto founded Pristine Card Exchange. He believes the hobby should be built on trust, transparency, and respect. Having seen too many collectors encounter unfair deals, hidden information, and a lack of honesty, he set out to build a business where people could buy, sell, and trade with confidence.
